Pollution has become a serious threat to our society over the last few decades. It has led to significant impacts such as decreased air and water quality, climate change, habitat loss, declining biodiversity, and the degradation of ecosystems.

Environmental activist Terri Swearingen once made a powerful statement saying “We live on this Earth as if we have another planet to go to.” For many, that mindset still holds true, but the reality is we don’t have a backup planet. This is our only home and the chances of finding another anytime soon are slim.

What we do have, however, is the power to act. By coming together as a community, we can protect and restore the land we share.
